JB Spatial was founded in Melbourne in July 2008. James Bandt is the founding director and principal consultant and has built a successful career in the spatial industry spanning over 20 years in Australia and overseas.
James has a degree in geomatics and is a founding member of the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) and an active member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
At JB Spatial we have a common approach to all projects, to: be open and approachable; respect all parties involved; work collaboratively with our clients, and deliver the highest quality outcomes. These aspects of our work are important to us and integral to our company and our values.
Our open approach extends to the technology that we use; we select the best and most appropriate tools and techniques for the task – proprietary or open source.
